The Draught Is Back

I need to inform you about a serious situation in the Amazon Region that threatens our ministry. Last year’s drought resulted in the lowest water levels in over 120 years, leading to over $100 million in losses, as bad as it was, this year is on it’s way to being worse.

As you know, the river is the highway that allows us to reach these villages and the people that live in them. The low water levels and the smoke from wild fires hinders our ability to access the people we serve.

THE CHALLENGES:

  • Our costs have risen because it's harder to travel on the rivers and provide our services.

  • We have had to stop our seminary training in Parintins this year because it's too difficult for our students to reach the city.

  • People in remote villages need more than just spiritual training; they also require food bags, clean water solutions, and medicine.

We have the opportunity to bring hope to this desperate situation.

Fortunately, we can access these villages and provide support very much like we did during the pandemic. Our network of churches scattered around the jungle can be a source of hope as they become distribution centers that God can use.

However, we need your generous assistance to provide the essential resources that are urgently required. Your donation will make a significant difference by helping to cover expenses for food bags, clean water solutions, and medicine, as well as the associated transportation costs.

I am seeking your kind donation to support our ministry and assist those in need during these challenging times.

Thank you for stepping up in such a difficult situation.
