THE CURRENT OF HOPE
75 Years of Faithfulness. Hope Still Flows.
For 75 years, God has worked through faithful people to share the hope of Jesus across the Amazon.
Today, that mission continues through local leaders who disciple their neighbors, shepherd churches, and prepare others to carry the Gospel into surrounding communities.
Your year-end gift helps sustain these leaders and the work they continue every day.

We Don’t Just Go. We Stay.
Reaching a community is the beginning of a lasting commitment.
New believers need someone to teach them Scripture, answer their questions, and walk alongside them as they grow. Churches need leaders prepared to guide their congregations and help others learn to serve.
Amazon Vida supports this continuing work through discipleship, biblical training, and local leaders who make their homes among the people they serve.
The mission doesn’t stop when your boat leaves.
How The Current Flows
The Current Reaches
We start working in a new village, usually after a team has been there.
The Current Disciples
Our indigenous pastors return again and again to make disciples.
The Current Develops
We train leaders in our seminary program to be spiritual leaders.
The Current Transforms
Change that started with people now affects the whole community.
Training That Reaches Beyond the Classroom
For many, the journey to learn begins long before they ever step into a classroom. Some students walk for hours through the dense forest, then travel for another 15 hours by boat just to attend.
Once they arrive, they can study biblical doctrine using materials translated directly into their own language, including materials prepared for Sateré students, making God's Word deeply accessible.
The Ripple Effect of Your Support
The impact of this training reaches far beyond those few days together. When students return home, they are better prepared to:
Teach Scripture accurately within their local churches
Guide new believers in their walk of faith
Develop other leaders to help sustain growing congregations
Your year-end gift helps sustain this essential training and keeps the local ministry thriving long after the classroom empties, carrying the hope of Christ farther along the rivers of the Amazon.
