Our mission statement is a simple declaration of our process to fulfill the great commission. As we approach the end of the year we would like to tell you how we did at each of the three steps.
Today we want to look at:
Making Disciples. TRAINING LEADERS. Transforming Communities.
Making new disciples often leads to training new leaders to help reach even more new disciples. We are always looking for potential new leaders that will help transform their community as well as others for the kingdom of God.
Our indigenous church leaders and staff from Brazil, Peru, and Columbia are able to train new local leaders that are able to reach their villages.
Indigenous missionaries are able to be accepted much easier into the culture without the difficulty of learning a new language.
Every two months students leave their riverside communities, a very long and difficult for many of them, to participate in classes in person.
During the seminary meetings students receive training for various aspects of church ministry and enjoy a rich time of learning and mutual encouragement.
